Interpretation, Terra Nova National Park
Marine Interpretation Centre - Located just off the Trans Canada Highway, this is the visitor information centre for the Park during the summer season. Visitors can plan their trip with park staff here and watch a video to help orient them to the Park. Sea kayaking, boat tours, a gift shop and a restaurant are also available here. In the exhibit area of the Centre, visitors can explore aquariums, a touch tank filled with a variety of marine life, an underwater camera, interactive exhibits, wet lab and more.
A variety of interpretive programs are offered throughout the summer season to educate visitors about the Park and our natural environment. Programs include the Junior Naturalist program, guided walks and campfire programs. Please inquire upon your arrival in the Park for dates and times.
